I wanted to say thank you to Mike Victor and his staff for saving me! I took my 2003 BMW 530i to the dealer in South Atlanta because it went into "fail safe mode". The dealer told me that I needed a new transmission and a thermostat and was going to charge me $7600. This was the week of Christmas and I was devastated. I actually cried when I got the estimate. I picked my car up and took it straight to Mr. Transmission on a recommendation of a friend.
Mike checked my car over and said that I did not have a transmission problem but instead it was something electrical. He recommended another repair shop that could correct the problem and did not charge me anything to inspect my car. I took my car to the recommended repair shop and ended up just having the alternator and thermostat replaced, costing about $750. Mike saved me $7,000 and a lot of heartache! Thanks so much!! I just wanted to thank you for doing such a great job fixing my 2004 X-type Jaguar. I had received cost quotes to have it fixed for $2600 and as high as $4500 so when you called and told me it was not a major repair and only going to cost $275 I knew you were a God send and a very honest person.
